The Risk Assessor Refresher is an (8) hour class to review the duties of the U.S. EPA Lead Inspector/ Risk Assessor and update the professional as to the new rules for conducting a risk assessment of homes and schools. Class exercises will be practices to refresh the participants on determining where the occupants may be at risk or exposed to lead hazards by the review of lead inspections and clearances; dust samples; water samples; soil samples and collection of consumer goods for analysis by laboratories. This class is required to maintain your EPA certification every (3) years. Please plan to take this class approximately (6) months before the expiration date on your EPA certificate to allow for enough time to re-apply to the EPA for re-certification.
